“Here he felt the truly tangible presence of silent nature only Lapland can offer.”
Jávri is located in Saariselkä, a village some 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in the heart of Finnish Lapland, less than 30 minutes from Ivalo (IVL) airport. It is surrounded by national parks, fells, vast forests, lakes and rivers with crystal clear water and idyllic small villages. The closest national park was named after Urho Kekkonen. It is the second largest protected natural park in Finland with a size of 2,550 square kilometres or 985 square miles.
Through this astonishing wilderness, we want to share our passion for our environment and allow you to enjoy it with us and, most importantly, to enjoy all of this without hurry and at peace.
